My Mouth
My Breaking point
Job 40:3

The Problem
Matthew 15:16
Jesus replied, "You, too? Are you being willfully stupid? Don't you know that anything that is swallowed works its way through the intestines and is finally defecated? But what comes out of the mouth gets its start in the heart. It's from the heart that we vomit up evil arguments, murders, adulteries, fornication's, thefts, lies, and cussing. That's what pollutes. Eating or not eating certain foods, washing or not washing your hands—that's neither here nor there."

The Promise

Keep and live out the entire commandment that I'm commanding you today so that you'll live and prosper and enter and own the land that God promised to your ancestors. Remember every road that God led you on for those forty years in the wilderness, pushing you to your limits, testing you so that he would know what you were made of, whether you would keep his commandments or not. He put you through hard times. He made you go hungry. Then he fed you with manna, something neither you nor your parents knew anything about, so you would learn that men and women don't live by bread only; we live by every word that comes from God's mouth. Your clothes didn't wear out and your feet didn't blister those forty years. You learned deep in your heart that God disciplines you in the same ways a father disciplines his child.

Prayer
Lord God it is difficult to pray this morning. My enthusiasm has faded, but even in my emotions I must not lea unto my own understanding, but by your word. So Lord God I praise you with a heart that want to be consistent, that desires to keep moving. My mouth it seems has been trying to defend myself...defend how you made me. I'm so tired of the arguing, the yelling, the fighting...
I'm tired God...
So here I am, with no real new prayer. Just the same one.still seeking your face, seeking you eyes, seeking your ears, and your reflection. Bridle my tongue, but make me fearless for this new journey. I know you will provide everything that is needed.
To the God who speaks, in the name of Jesus Christ who spoke life into everything
