Day 30-The Thumb

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God

Day 30
My Thumb

Old Reflection
Judges 1:7
Then Adoni-Bezek said, "Seventy kings with their THUMBS and big toes cut off have picked up scraps under my table. Now God has paid me back for what I did to them." They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

New Reflection
Joshua 10:7
So Joshua set out from Gilgal, his whole army with him—all those tough soldiers! God told him, "Don't give them a second thought. I've put them under your THUMB—not one of them will stand up to you."

Proverbs 1:7
[ Start with God ]
Start with God—the first step in learning is bowing down to God; only fools THUMB their noses at such wisdom and learning.

Isaiah 40:12
[ The Creator of All You Can See or Imagine ]
Who has scooped up the ocean in his two hands,
or measured the sky between his THUMB and little finger,
Who has put all the earth's dirt in one of his baskets,
weighed each mountain and hill?
Who could ever have told God what to do or taught him his business?
What expert would he have gone to for advice,
what school would he attend to learn justice?
What god do you suppose might have taught him what he knows,
showed him how things work?

Prayer
Father God...I don't really feel like praying today,
but I'm going to do it anyway. Thank for the lesson learned in the scripture above,
but what do you do when u seek your face and u still feel the distance
I don't rally want to be transparent anymore
And here I go complaining...
Well God stay with me today.
Amen
