Day 57-Wisdom for the Heart

Day 57
Wisdom for a Heart

My expectations for this process weren't prepared for the difficulty that would come when I'd start studying the heart. This started as an issue of the heart...a broken heart trying not to find security and comfort in the arms of another relationship. I have always been told that the best way to get over someone is by getting into a new relationship. but something about that
didn't feel right. It didn't seem to solve anything...didn't seem to heal anything, it only distracted really. It has become obvious that relationships from years ago still creep into the newer ones. And it isn't just about guys, this is about family, habits,...everything really
There had to be something else...
So I've been seeking Christ...seeking the word.
but though the old way is nothing that I desire...the healing that I so desperately seek seems
like a fairytale. This is as real as I can be...
I'm discouraged...I want my best to be good enough. A man just walked in and told me " this is your best...this isn't good enough"
the last thing I could hear today, even if it was about painting the walls...my effort was my best...and you just wonder is there someone out there that take this to be "enough"

I never thought it be easy...but this is something else
so I'm looking for wisdom...

Proverbs 2:1
[ Make Insight Your Priority ]
Good friend, take to HEART what I'm telling you; collect my counsels and guard them with your life. Tune your ears to the world of Wisdom; set your HEART on a life of Understanding. That's right—if you make Insight your priority,
and won't take NO for an answer,
Searching for it like a prospector panning for gold, like an adventurer on a treasure hunt, Believe me, before you know it Fear-of-God will be yours; you'll have come upon the Knowledge of God.

Even though I feel like I'm loosing my grip...
Proverbs 3:3
Don't lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God's eyes and the eyes of the people.

so I must...
Proverbs 3:5
Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he's the one who will keep you on track. Don't assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don't, dear friend,
resent God's discipline; don't sulk under his loving correction.
It's the child he loves that God corrects;
a father's delight is behind all this.

Wrapping my arms around this I stretch it a bit more to learn...
Proverbs 4:3
When I was a boy at my father's knee, the pride and joy of my mother, He would sit me down and drill me: "Take this to heart. Do what I tell you—live! Sell everything (the old way, the old stuff, the deadness, the things that don't bring life) and buy Wisdom! Forage for Understanding! Don't forget one word! Don't deviate an inch! Never walk away from Wisdom—she guards your life; love her—she keeps her eye on you. Above all and before all, do this: Get Wisdom! Write this at the top of your list: Get Understanding! Throw your arms around her—believe me, you won't regret it; never let her go—she'll make your life glorious. She'll garland your life with grace, she'll festoon your days with beauty."

even though I want to give up I must remember...
Proverbs 14:12
There's a way of life that looks harmless enough;
look again—it leads straight to hell. Sure, those people appear to be having a good time, but all that laughter will end in
heart break.

because this crap feels like...
Proverbs 15:13
A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day.

Proverbs 15:15
A miserable heart means a miserable life; a cheerful heart fills the day with song.

So...
Proverbs 21:14
A quietly given gift soothes an irritable person; a heartfelt present cools a hot temper.

I want God to say...
Proverbs 23:15
[ 13 ] Dear child, if you become wise, I'll be one happy parent. My heart will dance and sing to the tuneful truth you'll speak.

and know I am being tested...
Proverbs 27:21
The purity of silver and gold is tested by putting them in the fire; The purity of human hearts is tested by giving them a little fame.

and i'll do my best to move forward from it and...
Ecclesiastes 9:7
Seize life! Eat bread with gusto, Drink wine with a robust heart. Oh yes—God takes pleasure in your pleasure! Dress festively every morning. Don't skimp on colors and scarves. Relish life with the spouse you love Each and every day of your precarious life. Each day is God's gift. It's all you get in exchange For the hard work of staying alive. Make the most of each one! Whatever turns up, grab it and do it. And heartily! T
his is your last and only chance at it, For there's neither work to do nor thoughts to think In the company of the dead, where you're most certainly headed.

Ecclesiastes 11:9
You who are young, make the most of your youth. Relish your youthful vigor. Follow the impulses of your heart. If something looks good to you, pursue it. But know also that not just anything goes; You have to answer to God for every last bit of it.
