Day 28-My Elbow

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God

Day 28
My Elbow

Old reflection
Luke 14:7
[ Invite the Misfits ]
He went on to tell a story to the guests around the table. Noticing how each had tried to elbow into the place of honor, he said, "When someone invites you to dinner, don't take the place of honor. Somebody more important than you might have been invited by the host. Then he'll come and call out in front of everybody, 'You're in the wrong place. The place of honor belongs to this man.' Red-faced, you'll have to make your way to the very last table, the only place left.

New Reflection
Isaiah 54:1
[ Spread Out! Think Big! ]
"Sing, barren woman, who has never had a baby. Fill the air with song, you who've never experienced childbirth! You're ending up with far more children than all those childbearing women." God says so! "Clear lots of ground for your tents! Make your tents large. Spread out! Think big! Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep. You're going to need lots of ELBOW room for your growing family. You're going to take over whole nations; you're going to resettle abandoned cities. Don't be afraid—you're not going to be embarrassed. Don't hold back—you're not going to come up short. You'll forget all about the humiliations of your youth, and the indignities of being a widow will fade from memory. For your Maker is your bridegroom, his name, God-of-the-Angel-Armies! Your Redeemer is The Holy of Israel, known as God of the whole earth. You were like an abandoned wife, devastated with grief, and God welcomed you back, Like a woman married young and then left," says your God.

Psalm 37:7
Quiet down before God, be prayerful before him. Don't bother with those who climb the ladder, who ELBOW their way to the top.

Prayer!
Lord God my elbows are planted at the table of your righteousness! I need elbow room in your presence so I may Shout the way I want to! So I amy stretch my hands in praise and worship like you deserve! Thank you for elbow room to learn how to be disciplined! You place us in a position to learn and receive favor!

I thank God for the testimony hidden in the chest of Emmitt Smith, Flyod Little, the other guys whose name escapes me for showing me how a champion worships you with there life! I don't take that for granted!

Thank you!
In Jesus name Amen

Day 27-My Arms

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God

Day 27
My Arms

Old Reflection
Hosea 7:15
Though I disciplined and strengthened their arms, Yet they devise evil against Me;

Zechariah 13:6
And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’ Then he will answer, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’

God's Loving Arms
Hosea 11:3
“ I taught Ephraim to walk, Taking them by their arms; But they did not know that I healed them.

Isaiah 49:22
This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.

John 5:41
"I'm not interested in crowd approval. And do you know why?
Because I know you and your crowds. I know that love, especially God's love, is not on your working agenda. I came with the authority of my Father, and you either dismiss me or avoid me. If another came, acting self-important, you would welcome him with open arms. How do you expect to get anywhere with God when you spend all your time jockeying for position with each other, ranking your rivals and ignoring God?

Romans 14:1
[ Cultivating Good Relationships ]
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don't see things the way you do. And don't jump all over them every time they do or say something you don't agree with—even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department. Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently.

New Reflection

Genesis 49:24
But his bow remained in strength,
And the arms of his hands were made strong By the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob

Deuteronomy 33:27
The eternal God is your refuge,
And underneath are the everlasting arms;
He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, ‘Destroy!’

Judges 15:14
...Then the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him;
and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire,
and his bonds broke loose from his hands.

Psalm 18:32
It is God who arms me with strength,And makes my way perfect.

Psalm 37:17
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,But the LORD upholds the righteous.

Proverbs 31:17
She girds herself with strength, And strengthens her arms.

Isaiah 51:5
My righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth, And My arms will judge the peoples; The coastlands will wait upon Me, And on My arm they will trust.

Ezekiel 13:20
‘Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds. I will tear them from your arms, and let the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds.

1 Kings 8:54
Having finished praying to God—all these bold and passionate prayers—Solomon stood up before God's Altar where he had been kneeling all this time, his arms stretched upward to heaven. Standing, he blessed the whole congregation of Israel, blessing them at the top of his lungs:

Micah 7:11
Oh, that will be a day! A day for rebuilding your city, a day for stretching your arms, spreading your wings! All your dispersed and scattered people will come back, old friends and family from faraway places, From Assyria in the east to Egypt in the west, from across the seas and out of the mountains. But there'll be a reversal for everyone else—massive depopulation— because of the way they lived, the things they did.

1 John 2:28
[ Live Deeply in Christ ] And now, children, stay with Christ. Live deeply in Christ. Then we'll be ready for him when he appears, ready to receive him with open arms, with no cause for red-faced guilt or lame excuses when he arrives.

Jude 1:20
But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God's love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life!

Psalm 131:2
I've kept my feet on the ground, I've cultivated a quiet heart. Like a baby content in its mother's arms, my soul is a baby content.

Prayer
We stretch out our arms to you! Grateful for removing the chains, removing the things that had us bound! We open our arms to those who are lost and stretch ourselves to be examples! We open up our arms across the church and stand in unity! We stretch arms to carry the load of being a christian! Proud of the yoke for it is easy and light compared to what we could be holding on too!

We lift our arms to you in surrender! We lift our arms to you in submission! We lift our arms to you reaching for you as u lead us into righteousness!
We thank you for your word above and we appreciate the sacrifice of you stretching you arms for our salvation!
In Jesus name. Amen

Day 26-My Spine

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 26
My Spine

2 Chronicles 32:6
Hezekiah rallied the people, saying, "Be strong! Take courage! Don't be intimidated by the king of Assyria and his troops—there are more on our side than on their side. He only has a bunch of mere men; we have our God to help us and fight for us!" Morale surged. Hezekiah's words put steel in their SPINES.

Prayer
Father God I thank you for a straight to the point word! This is not the first time that we have heard in this season. To Be Strong and to Take Courage! So we stand straight with our spines sharp as steel! It says above that you will fight this thing for us so God we continue to surrender to the committed, consistent, loving journey! Thank you for teaching us how to trust you! Faith helps us walk on water! These words from the word of God have encouraged us! We go back today to prior scriptures and remind ourselves that it is on the solid rock that we stand!

Standing firm with my spine like steel
In Jesus name we pray
Amen

Day 25-My Stomach

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 25
The Stomach Ache
Numbers 21:4
[ The Snake of Fiery Copper ]
They set out from Mount Hor along the Red Sea Road, a detour around the land of Edom. The people became irritable and cross as they traveled. They spoke out against God and Moses: "Why did you drag us out of Egypt to die in this godforsaken country? No decent food; no water—we can't stomach this stuff any longer."

Job 20:15
He will spit out the riches he swallowed; God will make his stomach vomit them up.

Job 20:12
"They savor evil as a delicacy, roll it around on their tongues, Prolong the flavor, a dalliance in decadence— real gourmets of evil! But then they get stomach cramps, a bad case of food poisoning. They gag on all that rich food; God makes them vomit it up. They gorge on evil, make a diet of that poison— a deadly diet—and it kills them. No quiet picnics for them beside gentle streams with fresh-baked bread and cheese, and tall, cool drinks. They spit out their food half-chewed, unable to relax and enjoy anything they've worked for. And why? Because they exploited the poor, took what never belonged to them.

Proverbs 13:25
The righteous eat to their hearts' content, but the stomach of the wicked goes hungry.

Jeremiah 30:6
Ask and see: Can a man bear children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach like a woman in labor, every face turned deathly pale?

Proverbs 23:29
[ 18 ] Who are the people who are always crying the blues? Who do you know who reeks of self-pity? Who keeps getting beat up for no reason at all? Whose eyes are bleary and bloodshot? It's those who spend the night with a bottle, for whom drinking is serious business. Don't judge wine by its label, or its bouquet, or its full-bodied flavor. Judge it rather by the hangover it leaves you with— the splitting headache, the queasy stomach. Do you really prefer seeing double, with your speech all slurred, Reeling and seasick, drunk as a sailor? "They hit me," you'll say, "but it didn't hurt; they beat on me, but I didn't feel a thing. When I'm sober enough to manage it, bring me another drink!"

Lamentations 1:20
"O God, look at the trouble I'm in! My stomach in knots, my heart wrecked by a life of rebellion. Massacres in the streets, starvation in the houses.

Lamentations 3:13
He shot me in the stomach with arrows from his quiver. Everyone took me for a joke, made me the butt of their mocking ballads. He forced rotten, stinking food down my throat, bloated me with vile drinks.

Philippians 3:19
Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.

God's Response
Amos 4:6
"I gave you empty stomachs in every city and lack of bread in every town, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD.

Micah 6:14
You will eat but not be satisfied; your stomach will still be empty. You will store up but save nothing, because what you save I will give to the sword.

Proverbs 12:22
God can't stomach liars; he loves the company of those who keep their word.

Proverbs 16:5
God can't stomach arrogance or pretense; believe me, he'll put those upstarts in their place.

Mark 7:19
For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")

Luke 12:22
[ Steep Yourself in God-Reality ]
He continued this subject with his disciples. "Don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or if the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your inner life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body. Look at the ravens, free and unfettered, not tied down to a job description, carefree in the care of God. And you count far more.

Romans 14:17
God's kingdom isn't a matter of what you put in your stomach, for goodness' sake. It's what God does with your life as he sets it right, puts it together, and completes it with joy. Your task is to single-mindedly serve Christ. Do that and you'll kill two birds with one stone: pleasing the God above you and proving your worth to the people around you.

1 Corinthians 8:8
But fortunately God doesn't grade us on our diet. We're neither commended when we clean our plate nor reprimanded when we just can't stomach it. But God does care when you use your freedom carelessly in a way that leads a fellow believer still vulnerable to those old associations to be thrown off track.

1 Corinthians 6:13
"Food for the stomach and the stomach for food"—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Psalm 81:8
"Listen, dear ones—get this straight; O Israel, don't take this lightly. Don't take up with strange gods, don't worship the latest in gods. I'm God, your God, the very God who rescued you from doom in Egypt, Then fed you all you could eat, filled your hungry stomachs.

New Reflection

Proverbs 18:20
From the fruit of his mouth a man's stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied.

Proverbs 18:20
Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest.

Revelation 10:9
So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey."

2 Timothy 4:3
You're going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They'll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you're doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God's servant.

Revelation 2:2
"I see what you've done, your hard, hard work, your refusal to quit. I know you can't stomach evil, that you weed out apostolic pretenders. I know your persistence, your courage in my cause, that you never wear out.

Prayer
It is a BEAUTIFUL Day to be alive!
To STOMACH the trails and teaching that you have planned for our purpose!
I was made for right now! I was made for this generation I was made for this journey!
I was made to reflection the very character of God!
I was made to worship you and to praise you!
That's why the closer I get to you from seeking and pursuing holiness, the things I could stomach in my old life just make me sick! You are changing my appetite for life! Changing my hunger and desire! Making sure that the things I digest are of your ways and not mine!
Thank you Father for the 18 young souls that got saved last night! Thank you for the. Word from John Gray that filled the stomachs and minds of hundreds of teenagers! Let it be airborne! This healing that I participate in! May it be contagious! And known amongst the lost. And hurting!
I come against every stronghold and attack on our young people who have STOMACH the hardness of life! Digest more than someone there age should. We command a RELEASE in the name of Jesus who died on the cross for moments like these! We come against every stronghold and attack from the enemy, even the distortion of themselves, for the thing that they STOMACH at an early age, and grew accustomed to it and callous to it! I pray for a release followed by a loving accountability partner, followed by a new dimensional church, followed by public healing so their friend and loved one can be apart of the domino effect!

We will not STOMACH this crap anymore! We will not stomach stagness, and laziness in the body of Christ anymore! We will not STOMACH church as usual! We will digest living word that stretches us DAILY! No longer on a weekly supply!
I command a change in my temple! A reordering of how I worship you! Let everything that have Breathe praise the Most High for he is good! And because he is worthy, and because he is God alone and he didn't have to do it, but I am tearfully grateful that he did!
Whatever! My God is real!
In Jesus Name we pray
Amen
Love your servant Shamael and the army beside me!

Day 24-My Breast

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 24
My Breast

Isaiah 23:5
"Oholao started who ring while she was still mine. She listed after As syrians as lovers: military men smartly uniformed in blue, ambassadors and governors, good-looking young men mounted on fine horses. Her lust was unrestrained. She was a whore to the As syrian elite. She compounded her filth with the idols of those to whom she gave herself in lust. She never slowed down. The who ring she began while young in Egypt she continued, sleeping with men who played with her breasts and spent their lust on her.

Isaiah 23:18
"I turned my back on her just as I had on her sister. But that didn't slow her down. She went at her who ring harder than ever. She remembered when she was young, just starting out as a whore in Egypt. That whetted her appetite for more virile, vulgar, and violent lovers—stallions obsessive in their lust. She longed for the sexual prowess of her youth back in Egypt, where her firm young breasts were caressed and fondled.

Got Milk?
1 Corinthians 3:1
But for right now, friends, I'm completely frustrated by your unspecified dealings with each other and with God. You're acting like infants in relation to Christ, capable of nothing much more than nursing at the breast. Well, then, I'll nurse you since you don't seem capable of anything more. As long as you grab for what makes you feel good or makes you look important, are you really much different than a babe at the breast, content only when everything's going your way? When one of you says, "I'm on Paul's side," and another says, "I'm for Apollo," aren't you being totally infantile?

1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was an infant at my mother's breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good

1 Peter 2:1
So clean house! Make a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. You've had a taste of God. Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God's pure kindness. Then you'll grow up mature and whole in God.

Cover my breast
Exodus 28:15
[ The Breast piece ] "Fashion a breast-piece for making decisions—the work of a skilled craftsman. Make it like the aphid: of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.

Luke 18:13
"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'

God's Response
Isaiah 28:9
"Who is it he is trying to teach? To whom is he explaining his message? To children weaned from their milk, to those just taken from the breast?

Isaiah 49:15
"Can a mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But even if mothers forget, I'd never forget you—never. Look, I've written your names on the backs of my hands. The walls you're rebuilding are never out of my sight. Your builders are faster than your wreckers. The demolition crews are gone for good. Look up, look around, look well! See them all gathering, coming to you? As sure as I am the living God"—God's Decree— "you're going to put them on like so much jewelry, you're going to use them to dress up like a bride.

Isaiah 60:16
You will drink the milk of nations and be nursed at royal breasts. Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 66:12
God's Message: "I'll pour robust well-being into her like a river, the glory of nations like a river in flood. You'll nurse at her breasts, nestle in her bosom, and be bounced on her knees. As a mother comforts her child, so I'll comfort you. You will be comforted in Jerusalem."

Isaiah 16:6
"'And then I came by. I saw you all miserable and bloody. Yes, I said to you, lying there helpless and filthy, "Live! Grow up like a plant in the field!" And you did. You grew up. You grew tall and matured as a woman, full-breasted, with flowing hair. But you were naked and vulnerable, fragile and exposed.

Luke 23:29
For the time will come when you will say, 'Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!'

New Reflection
Genesis 49:25
because of your father's God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb.

Isaiah 59:17
He put on righteousness as his breast plate, and the helmet of salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

Psalm 22:9
Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother's breast.

Proverbs 5:19
A loving doe, a graceful deer— may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be captivated by her love.

Aphasia 6:14
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breast plate of righteousness in place,

1 Thesselonians 5:8
But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breast plate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Psalm 32:5
Then I let it all out; I said, "I'll make a clean breast of my failures to God." Suddenly the pressure was gone— my guilt dissolved, my sin disappeared.

1 John 1:8
If we claim that we're free of sin, we're only fooling ourselves. A claim like that is errant nonsense. On the other hand, if we admit our sins—make a clean breast of them—he won't let us down; he'll be true to himself. He'll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing. If we claim that we've never sinned, we out-and-out contradict God—make a liar out of him. A claim like that only shows off our ignorance of God.

Revelation 9:9

They had breast plates like breast plates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle.

Prayer
Father God! The Father who is also the Mother who nourish us from the womb and feeds us life! Thanks you for the many face that you share with us! Your character is indescribable because although you have been a mother to us we forget that u have been a nurturer as well as a disciplinary father! There is no broken home in the body of Christ! You are everything to us. Thank you for willing eyes to see the reflection that is birthed inside of be due to your grace and mercy!
We stand with the testimony in our chest! We pray for wisdom Lord God as we learn to cover our breast properly! Not just in the fashions, but in who we let caress and touch. The first scriptures are an example of a constant theme for my sisters, maybe not to. The extreme, but it is a gateway, even when you try to hold on or really don't have the desire to! We come against pressure for the "need" of affection. The disguise of security based on a lustful touch. It is in the authority of the name Jesus that we stand an know that we are suppose to cover our breast with righteousness! As I type this on my blackberry lord God give me direction! Help me be an example! Some days I don't know how to even dress without being exposed a little, and I don't see a problem with it, but u have asked me to cover it wit righteous...show me what that looks like on a daily. Not just on Sunday or when I'm around people from church, but as a person who seeks u and loooves fashion and art and the human form. Teach me a balance that you would be proud of,
I pray and lift up the needs of those who participate in this prayer whether its today or many days from now. Expose the issues of this part of our body! Let this part os our body reflect Christ! So when people see a picture they notice the difference, or when a guy or a girl try to seduce that part they are convicted!
This process desires the comforter, the holy spirit, and we ask for you know going deeper into areas and taboos!
We lift you above tradition and our earthly limitations of self love
We pursue holiness!
In jesus name we pray
Amen

Day 23-My Chest

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 23
My Chest

The Old Reflection

Deuteronomy 1:43
I told you but you wouldn't listen. You rebelled at the plain word of God.
You threw out your CHEST and strutted into the hills.
And those Amorites, who had lived in those hills all their lives, swarmed all over you like a hive of bees, chasing you from Seir all the way to Hormah, a stinging defeat.
You came back and wept in the presence of God,
but he didn't pay a bit of attention to you;
God didn't give you the time of day.
You stayed there in Kadesh a long time, about as long as you had stayed there earlier.

The New Reflection

Exodus 25:16
"Place The Testimony that I give you in the Chest.

Joel 3:9
Announce this to the godless nations: Prepare for battle!
Soldiers at attention! Present arms! Advance! Turn your shovels into swords, turn your hoes into spears. Let the weak one throw out his chest and say, "I'm tough, I'm a fighter." Hurry up, pagans! Wherever you are, get a move on!
Get your act together. Prepare to be shattered by God!

Romans 10:4
The earlier revelation was intended simply to get us ready for the Messiah, who then puts everything right for those who trust him to do it. Moses wrote that anyone who insists on using the law code to live right before God soon discovers it's not so easy—every detail of life regulated by fine print! But trusting God to shape the right living in us is a different story— no precarious climb up to heaven to recruit the Messiah, no dangerous descent into hell to rescue the Messiah. So what exactly was Moses saying? The word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest.
It's the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us.
This is the core of our preaching.
Say the welcoming word to God—"Jesus is my Master"—embracing, body and soul, God's work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That's it. You're not "doing" anything; you're simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That's salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: "God has set everything right between him and me!"

Prayer
The God of all creation we call out to you this day thanking you for a chest that marches before us in battle! The chest that keeps the testimony inside! We stand assured that the process is for you Glory and thank you for the process!
We stand on it! The word! The convenat with your people!
God I have to admit that I want the feelings in my chest to go away. I thought they be gone by now...
In Jesus name we pray
Amen

Day 22-My Back

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
My Back
NKJV

Lower Back Problems
Proverbs 29:11
A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.

Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”

Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel in the direction of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them, and whoever came out of the cities they destroyed in their midst.

1 Samuel 15:11
“I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the LORD all night.

Jeremiah 11:10
They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.”

Hosea 11:7
My people are bent on backsliding from Me. Though they call to the Most High, None at all exalt Him.

God's Response
And they have turned to Me the back, and not the face; though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.

Jeremiah 3:12
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: ‘ Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the LORD; ‘ I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,’ says the LORD; ‘ I will not remain angry forever.

Hosea 14:4
“ I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him.

My New Reflection
So it was, when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, that God gave him another heart; and all those signs came to pass that day.

Lamentations 3:40
Let us search out and examine our ways, And turn back to the LORD;

Lamentations 5:21
Turn us back to You, O LORD, and we will be restored; Renew our days as of old,

Joshua 10:25
Joshua told them, "Don't hold back. Don't be timid. Be strong! Be confident! This is what God will do to all your enemies when you fight them."

Prayer
Father God, Turn it around so that we no longer have our Backs towards you but that our faces are seeking your Face. That we are moving parellel with your ways because we are moving with our backs towards the old way of life!
That proverbs scripture really got me. I know I want to vent..
and express what I'm feeling before I explode!
But your wisdom says its best to hold back.
I NEED YOUR HELP
I don't even know what it looks like to hold back, because it feels like defeat! Teach me how to handle this stuff..
and comfort me when my sharing is not an over share.
I know you have called me to be transparent
and know as I pray this you show me the difference
Thank you Father!
Moving in erratic emotion to pull a result or an emotion from someone else is wrong.
sharing an emotion to encourage the body of Christ is more than alright
dude your cool...and instant answer
So Father we come against Backsliding... did it yesterday :(
We come against going BACK to the stuff we know is wrong, but feels good
Help us in the Idol times!
I'm sitting around tryn not to get into anything, but the time is spent so wastefully
turn us BACK to your FACE
Turn us BACK to your ways
Thank you for the process...thank you for the process
I command HEALING in my mind, body, temple, soul, my heart, my eyes, my reflection,my ears, my nose, mouth, tongue, lips, neck, shoulders, my everything!
We command it to ourselves!
There is NO TURNING BACK from you
Teach us how to Walk on water
In Jesus name we Pray
Amen
Shami
