Day 18-My Head

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 18
My Head
The New King James Version

My Old Reflection
And I said: “O my God, I am too ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God; for our iniquities have risen higher than our HEADS, and our guilt has grown up to the heavens.

2 Timothy 3:4
traitors,
headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

The Promise
I loooooove theses :-)

and the ransomed of the LORD will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

But You, O LORD, are a shield for me,My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me;Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.

God's Response
usually I leave a blank but I want to show how real it looks when you put your name there

Matthew 6:17
But Shamael, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face,

Luke 21:28
Now when these things begin to happen Shamael, look up and lift up your head, because your redemption draws near.”

1 Corinthians 11:3
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

1 Corinthians 11:5
But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.

1 Corinthians 11:7
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.

1 Corinthians 11:10
For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.

1 Corinthians 12:20-22

But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the HEAD to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

My True Reflection
I'm placing my name in there and saying it to my reflection

The king loved Shamael more than all the other women, and she obtained grace and favor in his sight more than all the virgins; so he set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti.

Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on Shamael's head and kissed her, saying, "Has not the LORD anointed you leader over his inheritance?

Isaiah 59:17
For Shamael put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on her head; She put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad ( a cover of metal used for armor plating) zeal (enthusiasm for a cause or idea) as a cloak (something that covers or conceals).

John 13:9
Simon Peter (
Shamael aka THE ROCK) said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!”

God's my Reflection
Ephesians 1:22
And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be
head over all things to the church,

Ephesians 4:15
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

Ephesians 5:23
For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.

Colossians 1:18
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Colossians 2:10
and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Colossians 2:18-20

Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Therefore,if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as
though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations—

Prayer

Lord God!
Thank you for your word! Thank you for your patience! Thank you for your HEALING process! Thank you!
I looooooove these scriptures above! God I acknowledge that YOU are the HEAD of my life! You give me wisdom, intelligence, foresight, direction, vision, prophecy...you set my path in order!
If I died with Christ, like when I said I receive this salvation, than God this

Colossians 2:18-20 shows me FULL CIRCLE how walking out of this tomb, surrendering to the process of dying daily to sin, old habits, and tainted perspective! You are : Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.

You are nourishing every part of my body with you love! Your knitting everything together by your word! I can see only what you allow me to understand, and I surrender to that!

I come against the enemy who would want us to fall backwards on this process! Want to distract us from the path laid before us!
You are my Head Father and you have authority, so it is in your name that I proclaim VICTORY over my life and my circumstances! It is in your name that I stretch my hands to the people next to me and stand with them on the
things that they are seeking you for!

Continue to guide me on how you want me to move in this. Remove the dates I dont need to be on...as my phone lights up. Help us from fb and tweet distractions
Its hard..
I love you
In Jesus name we pray!
AMEN

Day 17-My Hair

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 17
My Hair

Leviticus 10:6
Then Moses said to Aaron and his sons Eleazar and Ithamar, "Do not let your hair become unkempt...

Judges 16:22
But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.

My New Reflection
But the men said to Saul, "Should Jonathan die—he who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Never! As surely as the LORD lives, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground, for he did this today with God's help." So the men rescued Jonathan, and he was not put to death.

Song of Solomon 7:5NKJV
Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel, And the hair of your head is like purple; A king is held captive by your tresses.

Song of Solomon 4:1
How beautiful you are, my darling!
Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes behind your veil are doves. Your hair is like a flock of goats descending from Mount Gilead.

Song of Solomon 5:11
_____________ head is purest gold; her hair is wavy and black as a raven.

Luke 12:7
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Being Holy
Don't you agree there is something naturally powerful in the symbolism—a woman, her beautiful hair reminiscent of angels, praying in adoration...

1 Peter 3:1
[ Cultivate Inner Beauty ]
The same goes for you wives: Be good wives to your husbands, responsive to their needs. There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God, will be captivated by your life of holy beauty. What matters is not your outer appearance—the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes—but your inner disposition.

Luke 7:44
Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.

Prayer :-)

It's a marvelous day isn't it Father God!
Thank you for another opportunity to do this!
Thank you for another opportunity to have Internet, and research on my cell phone during the day! Even on the computer or in your written word that I have with me! You are a super cool God and I appreciate you!
I appreciate this process, and what it's doing within me!
I come against the name of Jesus the prince of principalities over the social standards of HAIR! Things that bind us because of how it grows from our scalp.Lord God it has us stuck! Stuck in a pattern of what the world...what society, our peers, the circumstances...it got us confused about what you have told us about our CROWN!
I've been a victim to it for too long God! I wonder if I look prettier if it's blonde, or if its longer? Maybe if it wasn't so nappy...maybe if it was more like that...why couldn't it be more like that?
Lord I am beautifully and wonderfully made! The women who is reading this who may have had a hair moment is beautifully and wonderfully made too! Remind us today! When we look in the mirror remind us that what we se is now through
"blessed" perspective! We don't see our hair the same way we did when we started! this is a real prayer...for real God. It's a stronghold for some of us!
I remeer when I fasted from my weave. it was because you wanted me to see myself...it was hard! i didn't go out! I was embarrassed
I didnt think I ould compete...
But I AM A PECULIAR PERSON
and this right here short,, bold, long, whatever is what you have made
how dare I be disgusted with it!
So help me
Help us!
Help the MEN who ONLY want women with specific hair!
It's a domino affect that causes unseen damage.
Heal the land. Heal the thinking and taste of the people!

Real talk Father, I've stared and been discouraged on how you've made me...
about my hair and that's problem.
So I rest on your word, I apply it to my reflection! I rejoice in what I see
The transformation.
Thank you for your grace!
In Jesus name I pray Amen!

Day 16-My Forehead

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 16
My Forehead

My Old reflection
Isaiah 48:4
For I knew how stubborn you were; the sinews of your neck were iron, your forehead was bronze.

My New Reflection
Exodus 13:9
This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the LORD is to be on your lips. For the LORD brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand.

Ezekiel 3:9
I will make your forehead like the hardest stone, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, though they are a rebellious house."

Revelation 7:3
"Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God."

Revelation 14:1
[ The Lamb and the 144,000 ]
Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.

Prayer!
Father God! I praise you right here in the dressing room, because no matter where I am I must stop and give you the praise and honor that you are due! Thank you God for making me a beautiful person inside! Reflecting what you want me to shine! I am marked on my forehead by your GRACE! I am MARKED on my forehead with promise! Thank you for placing us in favor always! Designing every bit around the gift of free will! I choose to love you! I choose to serve you! I choose to be happy. I choose to let it go! I choose to forgive . I choose to not make it to deep and surrender even when I don't know how to figure surrendering out, because I choose to NOT live in the lie, I choose to live in truth. Thank you for free will, thank you for being a gentleman and pursuing me the way you have and consistanly do!
Dude! You get me! you really do huh? Cuz only you could know that I needed to see myself the way you designed me

Day 15-My Cheeks

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 15
My Cheeks

The old reflection
Lamentations 1:2
Bitterly she weeps at night, tears are upon her cheeks. Among all her lovers there is none to comfort her. All her friends have betrayed her; they have become her enemies.

The new reflection
Song of Solomon 1:10
Your cheeks are beautiful with earrings, your neck with strings of jewels.

Song of Solomon 5:13
His cheeks are like beds of spice yielding perfume.

How I honor God
Matthew 5:39
But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Prayer
I made it God! I made it before midnight! Heavenly father I pray you find my sacrifice sweet and you see my heart, and my worship in my commitment to this thing! The beauty all and all is not in my dicecting myself bit by bit in the word,but to meditate how much of who I am, how much of what I see..mwhat my reflection is, that come from you. Every part of my face was made for worship,praise, and to be an example of your glory
Lord God you said to turn the other cheeck, and I pray that the anger that follows when you feel like you've been taken advantage of, that you were used for your kindness will be released. Its hard turning the other cheek, but I'm way to deep now God not to at least try and surrender to the process!
I pray over miscommunication, and praise you for every blessed moment that comes from this journey! You are so awesome! To take my pride and remove it, to take my mistake and use itfor your glory.
Thank you for the process!
In jesus name we pray
Amen

Day 14-My Throat

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
My Throat

My Old Reflection
I am worn out calling for help; my throat is parched.
My eyes fail, looking for my God.

Do not run until your feet are bare and your throat is dry.
But you said, 'It's no use! I love foreign gods, and I must go after them.

"Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit."
"The poison of vipers is on their lips."

The Problem

"Shout! A full-throated shout!
Hold nothing back—a trumpet-blast shout!
Tell my people what's wrong with their lives,
face my family Jacob with their sins!
They're busy, busy, busy at worship,
and love studying all about me.
To all appearances they're a nation of right-living people— law-abiding, God-honoring. They ask me, 'What's the right thing to do?'
and love having me on their side. But they also complain,
'Why do we fast and you don't look our way?
Why do we humble ourselves and you don't even notice?'

What I look like in the MIRROR

You remind me of Pharaoh's well-groomed and satiny mares.
Pendant earrings line the elegance of your cheeks; strands of jewels illumine the curve of your throat. I'm making jewelry for you, gold and silver jewelry that will mark and accent your beauty.

Let the high praises of God be in their throats...

Prayer

Father God! From our throats we yell out a mighty praise tat passes through our teeth, past our tongue, passed our lips and mouths into the atmosphere!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the process!
Thank you for allowing us to see every detail of who we are in the word. Seeing you in theses things.
dress our neck with holiness and righteousness like it was Cartier Diamonds...
We too look rough on the outside, but from the PRESSURE of the PROCESS
you old us into beautiful timeless precious stones...ROCKS
Rock=Strength
Rock=Peter
Peter-Simon=the new name for the new season!
We praise you!!!!
We don't start at service. We do it in the MIRROR...
God you just want to hang with us you...a special intimacy
Fill this place that has no reference of time. but fill it
cause you always here :-)
this prayer is sincere like all of my prayers! I pray it from my heart. I don't want to be two faced, so remove confusion from my day to day life so people can see the difference!
Praise you GOD
AMEN

Day 13 Prayer

Day 13
Mid point Prayer

Father God! You are worthy so worthy of my praise!
I exalt you above every name Lord God! Above my own, above the love self-esteem, above frustration....above it all! There are so many names that we give power too...soooo many names that we give authority too, and it dishonors your very presence! I walked around last night tryn to calculate my next steps, and I really heard you tell me just let go...just submit to the process, stop planing every move...God I don't know how to do that at all!
Analyzing this makes me feel safe. I don't want to mess up again
I really don't.

By your GRACE my weakness is made strong!
By your GRACE this process is complete, by your GRACE I am merely a tool to be used.
I don't want to be like those people who just give positive messages and act like it's so easy...the process is hard!
Why act like it's easy when it's not. Dying to this stuff is hard!
I pray for every person whose eyes may ever read one sentence of this blog! Lord our issues are not the same, but your grace and mercy is, and I ask that you meet the need instantly! That your comfort will instantly be felt!
I pray for my friends who have supported me, who know where my hear is...who know what my intentions are. thank you for friends with wisdom, and the thirst that is as deep as my own. Bless them over and over! I thank you for my mentors, who help me stand up in the word. They give hard word to chew, but I thank you for using them as your microphone.

I lift up every thing we have been focusing on these past few days.
Seeing you in every part of who I am God, is part of me daily seeking you!
Thank you for the process!

I pray for my old friend. I ask that you remove anger, fear, and frustration that lingers...I still lift the list to you...I still lift the sacrifice to you.

My prayer once again God

Psalm 25 (The Message)

Psalm 25

A David Psalm
1-2 My head is high, God, held high; I'm looking to you, God;
No hangdog skulking for me.

3 I've thrown in my lot with you;
You won't embarrass me, will you?
Or let my enemies get the best of me?

Don't embarrass any of us
Who went out on a limb for you.
It's the traitors who should be humiliated.

4 Show me how you work, God;
School me in your ways.

5 Take me by the hand;
Lead me down the path of truth.
You are my Savior, aren't you?

6 Mark the milestones of your mercy and love, God;
Rebuild the ancient landmarks!

7 Forget that I sowed wild oats;
Mark me with your sign of love.
Plan only the best for me, God!

8 God is fair and just;
He corrects the misdirected,
Sends them in the right direction.

9 He gives the rejects his hand,
And leads them step-by-step.

10 From now on every road you travel
Will take you to God.
Follow the Covenant signs;
Read the charted directions.

11 Keep up your reputation, God;
Forgive my bad life;
It's been a very bad life.

12 My question: What are God-worshipers like?
Your answer: Arrows aimed at God's bull's-eye.

13 They settle down in a promising place;
Their kids inherit a prosperous farm.

14 God-friendship is for God-worshipers;
They are the ones he confides in.

15 If I keep my eyes on God,
I won't trip over my own feet.

16 Look at me and help me!
I'm all alone and in big trouble.

17 My heart and kidneys are fighting each other;
Call a truce to this civil war.

18 Take a hard look at my life of hard labor,
Then lift this ton of sin.

19 Do you see how many people
Have it in for me?
How viciously they hate me?

20 Keep watch over me and keep me out of trouble;
Don't let me down when I run to you.

21 Use all your skill to put me together;
I wait to see your finished product.

22 God, give your people a break
From this run of bad luck.

Day 13-My Teeth

The Man in the Mirror Journey
is a journey of walking out of a tomb and recognizing everyday the beauty and significance of how God created us. Instead of rebounding and finding esteem in the arms of someone else, these are the step to seeing it in the arms of God
Day 13
My Teeth

My Old Reflection
the message
"I can't believe what I'm hearing!
You've put my teeth on edge, my stomach in a knot. How dare you insult my intelligence like this! Well, here's a piece of my mind!

Matthew 6:16
"When you practice some appetite-denying discipline to better concentrate on God, don't make a production out of it. It might turn you into a small-time celebrity but it won't make you a saint. If you 'go into training' inwardly, act normal outwardly. Shampoo and comb your hair, brush your teeth, wash your face. God doesn't require attention-getting devices. He won't overlook what you are doing; he'll reward you well.

1 John 1:6
If we claim that we experience a shared life with him and continue to stumble around in the dark, we're obviously lying through our teeth—we're not living what we claim. But if we walk in the light, God himself being the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God's Son, purges all our sin.

Amos 4:6
I also gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities and want of bread in all your places; yet you did not return to Me, says the Lord.

The New Reflection

Song of Solomon 4:2
Your teeth are whiter than sheep freshly washed;
they match perfectly, not one is missing.

Prayer
Father God, today was a hard day... started off so excited about learning about my smile and then it took one thing to set me back. My prayer doesn't have to do much about teeth, but it has more to do with me caring what other think...
It messes with my joy, stops my teeth from allowing good things to come out
I'm defensive God
Pray that this process isn't in vain, that you don't embarrass me in this process
that there is 360 healing,
the process is the process
and I have to believe that though you are not finished that your work
here has not been in vein
amen
sha
